WORLD'S COLUMBIAN MOVABLE SIDEWALK RIDE TICKET, ON THE PIER WHERE STEAMSHIPS OFFLOADED FAIRGOERS

This is a wonderful ticket....except....It was trimmed improperly at the bottom which tells me it was the end of a 10-ticket strip. All of the many concession tickets other than those with stand numbers that we've ever seen in quantity have been strips of 10 tickets. I can assume that this one is like others, with no perforation after the bottom of the 10-ticket strip.

Movable Sidewalk tickets in outstanding condition easily sell for $150-$200. I'll make this one VERY AFFORDABLE due to its missing the bottom edge, which I should point out does not impair any writing or serial number.

Great opportunity if you are looking for a blue (one of three colors) Movable Sidewalk ticket. And, I like most of those collecting tickets, always want to call this the "Moving Sidewalk" for some reason. It definitely was moving and the real name "Movable" implies it CAN move but MAY NOT. So feel free to call it "Moving." I won't complain, but of course in our forthcoming history and catalog of all Columbian tickets we will call it by the correct name...and footnote the colloquial reference to "moving."

Either way, this is actually a quite nice ticket and if you need or want a blue one, why not one that is discounted dramatically without having to deal with any damage.
