WORLD'S COLUMBIAN ADMISSION TICKET, 'A' SERIES WITH CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS

It's not very difficult to find the colorful admission tickets; the difficulty is finding them at a reasonable price. Up until just a couple years ago, you could find the Columbus, Native American, George Washington and Abe Lincoln tickets for $20.

They have gotten very overpriced in many cases now, and of course if they're third part graded, a lot of sellers think they're worth $100 or more. I've said many times that I think grading tickets is just downright dumb. But there are always going to be people who want that highest grade possible, even if they couldn't tell the different grades if you lined up a half dozen near mint and mint tickets

This ticket is certainly quite collectible but it is not in mint condition; there is the slightest discoloration on the borders. So...it's a nice high grade near mint. And it also gets a plus for the borders being very equal. When the printer was delivering a million or so tickets, invariably a portion end up cut offcenter so one border is noticeably wider than the border oposite it.
