WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPO PAIR OF OUTSTANDING STAND TICKETS--S24 & S-64

Two more outstanding stand tickets, one a5 cent and one 25 cent, from S-24 and S-64. The latter is one of the few we can identify--one of several from the Wellington Company.

Wellington had numerous cafes and restaurants around the fairgrounds and consequently they were the only concession in 1893 to bring in more than $1 million in revenue. That was anything but small; you can use any of several conversions to translate $1 million in 1893 to today's dollars. Whatever the number, the 2026 figure feels just as large as the 1893 number.

--no flaws on either. At less than $25 each, these are a serious bargain!
