WASHINGTON WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPO ADMISSION TICKET--NOT MINT BUT PROBLEM FREE
This is an "A" or what amounts to a second series. All of the admission tickets were reprinted during the fair when the initial printing ran out. While the "A" tickets have a somewhat lower total printed, I personally do not see the "A" tickets having value higher than the first printing.
I know tht some--or many!--collectors try to obtain both the first series and the "A" series on admission tickets. I've run into many collectors who also try to find examples of variations/series/letters rather than just an example.
Besides the "A" admission tickets, there are different color tickets for several tickets, such as the EL&NCo (electrical launch & navigation company, or the small tourist boats that ran throughout the inner waterways on the fairgrounds), the three different colors for the Movalble Sidewalk and the really almost impossible different letters on the Clow pay toilet tickets. The latter tickets have what appear to be random letters included on them. In fact, they are the letters in James Clow's name. I know of several collectors who have only one or two letters they're still looking for.
If you need a Washington ticket and/or a Washington "A", here you go and at a quite modest price!
