RARE TICKET FOR ATLANTA DAY AT THE 1895 COTTON STATES EXPOSITION

You can see a couple of vertical creases above the word "Atlanta" but this ticket is so rare that I suspect it will not stop any collectors from purchasing it.

The Cotton States 1895 event was most definitely one that drew an overwhelming majority of visitors from the southeastern section of the country. I'm sure others attended, but in small numbers.

While I view the Cotton States Expo as far less significant than most U.S. world's fairs, it still was an important event in the "cotton states." I have seen a very limited number of items--any type of items!--from this exposition. I do have an award medal for sale on ebay right now. Like this ticket I would classify it as from very scarce to rare.

I seriously doubt that any of the collectors participating in this sale have ever seen any admission tickets to the exposition. This also is a one-day ticket, thus even much rrer than other admission tickets.

I certainly jymped at the chance to purchase this ticket when I found it, anxious to include it in this sale despite it being creased.
