US Coins-1984 Los Angeles Olympics Commemorative Silver Dollar
Very pretting proof and priced below market, which can be trickly when many folks consider these modern silver dollars as "bullion." I try not to do that and never change the price up or down just because silver was up or down 50 cents. If suddenly I would be offering it at 10% under its melt value, well, then I'd at least change it so that it was being offered at melt.
I have been critical over the years of how the US mint seemed to lag behind other countries in the artistic design of coinage, especially compared to Canada. So I definitely want to point out what a terrific eagle this is. I am sure it is always a challenge to create new eagle designs for our coins. Of course this one seems so recent, but it was minted almost 40 years ago!
