A MEDAL TO GO WITH TICKETS FROM THE OLYMPICS....PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION

I spent an awful lot of time assembling everything for this sale and decided, as you will see if you scroll through the listings, that I would add a few non-world's fair tickets to the sale. One group is a really nice selection of several Olympic tickets/ID passes, several in a group all for one price.

And since I thought Olypic tickets might be of interest...I stepped another bit out of my stated contents of this sale. So...here is one of the items I very recently acquired and again, you will find a variety of items in the store, including several holdovers at the end of the listings.

This beautiful medal is a participant's medal from the Paris Olympics of 1924 and the second-oldest Olympic medal I have owned/sold. I had an absolutely beautiful silver medal, original box and engraved to be presented to an official at the 1908 London summer games. I kept it in a cabinet at home for a while before I decided I should do my job and sell it. I don't recall the exact price but it was around $1200 and worth it, to be sure.

This one is not silver, not belonging to a named person and not in the original box. All those things probably make it as much as $300± less than it otherwise would be.

The medal needs a good home of an interested collector. It's quite a rare piece. I also think it's a bargain...but price is such a bad way to evaluate great collectible items.

Naturally, if questions please let me know.
