This is a simply spectacular modern Bufalo/Indian design (copying the original US Bufalo nickels last minted in 1938). This gem BU PROOF photo is quite accurate—looking as if it is liquid gold. It's often so difficult to capture a coin's appearance but for once, this coin is shown exactly as you will see it in person--a .9999 gold $50 coin that is raw but if it were slabbed I would expect to see it called out as a PROOF 70.
