US Coins-1954 Gem Proof Washington Quarter, Much Brighter Than Photos
As nice as the coin is in the photographs, it is still much brighter and reflective chrome color in person. I won't try to put a number on this proof, but they certainly don't come much better. I would hope that a grading service would not give it any lower than a proof 67, but frankly, who can predict. It's priced as if it were a just a nice and pleasing proof, which it is...plus some. I consider this a real bargain if you are someone who routinely slabs coins. Obviously the difference between a slabbed 65 and a 67 might be $100 or more.
