Shipwreck Sale: Coin from 582 AD and Emperor Tiberius of the Byzantine Empire
$45.00
Sold out
Many Byzantine coins have an image of Christ while others may feature the emperor at the time the coin was struck. This would appear to be a representation of Jesus based on the cross to the left (his right) and the general appearance. Emperors are generally displayed only with head views. The coin has been slabbed for both identification and authentication but not graded by NGC.
