September 1 Sale-Pre-Sale Rare 1962 Seattle 1962 Gold Season Pass Mint Unused
The fair management issued a very limited number of season passes, both gold and silver, and for all our studying of the Expo for decades, we've never found the precise difference between them. Obviously the Gold Pass had a few more perks and were only issued to very special dignitaries and guests. I've seen the gold pass for sale about 3-4 times in the last 40+ years.
I've not seen this pass offered for less than $100 in that time, usually more.
Please note that we're posting a few special offers between July 20-August 31 just to remind you that our largest sale ever goes live September first. We will have an amazing collection of world's fair items from a dozen world's fairs--from the more common to the very rare/unique. Included will be more than 50 pieces from the World's Columbian Expo and almost two dozen pieces from London's Crystal Palace in 1851 and 1862. One of the one-of-a-kind items is a full catalog/guide to the first-ever U.S. world's fair, the New York Crystal Palace in 1853.
Too much to list here, but we will continue to share updates both here and on Ebay over the coming weeks prior to the fair. We will include a great selection from the sale on Ebay with giveaway pricing to open the auctions, also opening Sept. 1.
