Original document from Moses Handy and the Columbian Publicity and Promotions Department, Lot #68
The World’s Columbian Expo was amazingly organized due in part to the publication and promotions manager, Moses Handy. This item is a perforated sheet in which someone on the staff of the Exposition could request a photograph (or litho) from the publicity department. This document is seven inches by a bit over 2 inches. No doubt one half would stay with the item and the other would be filed in Handy's office. Actual internal WCE documents as well as any official correspondence from the fair are quite rare. This is priced very low, as we were fortunate to obtain a small cache in storage for more than 125 years.
