Two Unusual World's Columbian Expo Handout Cards, Much like Business Cards
These two scarce pieces are quite different from one another but also both somewhat like business cards as pocket-sized cards. The first is a a tobacco salesman selling Havana cigars and pipe mixture. His card used a bust of Columbus almost identical to the one on the half dollar and he had an exhibit in the Agriculture Building. The second card was handed out from the Hammond Company in the Stock Yards/lifestock exhibits. It is odd in that it has no contact information but assumes the fairgoer will keep the card and remember the company name. Both cards are here together for one low price.
