Look Closely--50+ Tickets From Fairs from Around the Globe, 1909-1986
Of particular interest you may not be able to identify are, in Photo #1, two tickets from the 1958 Brussels World's Fair (top right teal colored) and similar bottom center; a nice stand ticket from the WCE in the center top; one of our favorites, a booklet on the evil art of ticket scalping at the center from the Jamestown Expo; Alaska-Yukon Seattle 1909 exclusive Train to the Fair ticket at far right (purple) a bit tired and creased but rare; and a slew of NY World's Fair tickets, too, including the 4-ticket attraction strip at the lower right (red). Photo #2 is more modern in general, with a group of NYWF tickets, including Greyhound (lower left) and Greyhound (orange at right); a Vancouver 1986 Ramses ticket at the bottom; a brochure for the 1962 Seattle Monorail; an envelope from the Washington Bicentennial of his birth (1932) in the center; a tattered but the first discovery ticket from the WCE Day of Sale 3/C; Texas and Delaware tickets (white with red logo and pale green, upper left and lower left respectively; a ticket book from Spokane 1974 at left (expo bonus); a strip of three Fairliner onsite tram tickets from Seattle 1962; and a ticket envelope from expo 67 in Montreal, also the Canada centennial of confederation. We count 50+ total tickets and related ephemera. A real bargain at just $40.00 for more than 50 tickets. Some quite scarce tickets and ticket books.
