This is a medal that could appeal to railroad enthusiasts, as well as Columbian aficionados. The upper portion of the medal is not a bar but rather a vertical train engine (with the Santa Maria as an inset). Below is a medal in a spinner and the medal has a cherubic individual in clouds surrounded by the fair name. Around the rim are a variety of names of countries. We do not know the purpose of including the railroad element in the medal. The condition is gem BU and it is all bronze; the train at the top has a different tone to it, I'm sure in part for being struck separately.
