K1294B A nearly 100-page brochure promotiong the B&O Railroad

The B&O Railroad was a major player in a time when railroads were the transportion of choice in America. One of the keys to the selection of Chicago for the Exposition was the fact that it was the unequivocal center of America's rail universe. It was the hub of all railroad traffic and if you wanted to go to Seattle, San Francisco New York or Florida, your train went through the windy city. This brochure is seldom seen and we saw a copy sell in late 2018 for more than $200. It is almost book-length and professionally produced as one would expect from the Baltimore & Ohio line.
