2 Unopened Packs (Cowboy & Indian) 1950s "Swivel" Action Figures--Toy Lot #3, Lot #103C
We added vintage toys to the list of Americana items we sell for what was probably an obvious reason: I love handling the toys I had forever ago in the 1950s and 1960s. This lot (Our lot #3 of unopened rare toy packages you might have seen in a display aloang the aisles at Woolworth's or your local Five & Dime) consists of TWO unopened packs of swivel-actionfigures, one a colorful Indian, the other a likewise colorful Cowcowboys. Each old 10-cent pack includes a rider and his horse and kids could move them to face different directions, a new innovation in plastic figures of the era. The maker is LIDO, which also produced those famous "green army men" you still see today. It takes more than a keen eye today to identiy the manufacturer of any green guys....and just what year they were produced. The WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and even modern armies can have very subtle differences, or none at all as the same molds were someetimes used for decdes. We also will offer similar packages on ebay, but not at the lowest prices we can offer in our own online store. And please do ask if you are looking for other packs and loose similar toys. NOTE: One of the packs has ripped and we have photographed the rip to show you; this pack is kept in a protective cello bag. While the pack has split from old age it appears it never has let the contents slip out. The other pack is mint, the same in appearance but with no faults in the packaging. This PRICE is for BOTH packages shown.
